This year sees the 44th Pro Loco Art Competition held in Matlock Bath. This is an annual competition and open to everyone aged 14 and above.   The main rule is that the finished piece must depict a scene or artefact of Matlock Bath. 

The competition is now closed.

All work will be displayed in the Pump Room of the Mining Museum on Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th October 2024. Between 11.00 am-4.00 pm, members of the public will be invited to vote for their favourites.

Prizes will be awarded as follows:

1st Prize – £150

2nd Prize – £100

3rd Prize – £50

Best Villager (awarded to a resident of Matlock Bath) – £50

Parish Council Prize (chosen by Matlock Bath Parish Council) – £50

Most Creative and Innovative – £50
