Agendas will be posted a minimum of 3 days before each meeting (not including the date of the meeting). If the agenda is not showing, please contact the Clerk.
Residents are welcome to attend the meetings remotely, however, Councillors request that should you have a query/comment you wish to raise, you send it to the Clerk prior to the meeting. The query will be read out at the meeting and an answer will be given.
If you would like to attend a Parish Council meeting please, if possible, let the Clerk know beforehand. This is to ensure that sufficient seating is available at the venue.
At full Parish Council meetings there is usually a public participation time when members of the public can raise issues. Each member has a maximum of 3 minutes to address Council. During this time there can be no exchange of conversation between the resident and the Parish Council. If the issue raised is one which has already been discussed by Council and resolved, the Chairman will inform you of this. All other queries will be discussed either later in the agenda, if deemed urgent, or referred to a future Parish Council meeting. The outcome of which will be sent to you as soon as possible following the meeting.
An invitation is sent out to our District and County Councillors and the Police to attend to give a report. They too will be given a short time to deliver a report. At some meetings due to the amount of business to discharge, invitations can be suspended and a written report available instead.
The Chairman’s Annual Report, which is presented at the Annual Meeting is available to read under Chairman’s Reports. Any issues which residents would like to raise can be done so under Public Participation during the Full Council meeting.
